Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Buildings

Here is my entry for Cee’s Black & White Challenge.

This weeks theme is buildings!

This shot is the interior from Kirkstall Abbey, which is a ruined Cistercian monastery in Kirkstall, just north-west of Leeds, England. The Abbey was founded 1152.

Body: Olympus EPL5 | Lens: Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-45mm at f22 | Settings: 5 bracketed shots at -/+ 3EV.

Here’s a bonus (colour) shot of the Abbey. This one was shot as a “faked” long exposure, stitching together a series of shots.  Click the photo if you want to find out more about the technique.
