Urban Spaceman

These fellas were performing a street piece at Hull’s Freedom Festival. The Festival is hosted every year to celebrate Hull’s links to anti-slavery pioneer William Wilberforce. The Festival is now in its eigth year, and has gone from a small music festival to a celebration across much of the city that encompasses all manner of entertainment acts.

This particular piece was a social commentary (from what I caught) about pollution. The piece appeared to be about exploring our planet in the future. The group had a big rig that they set up as part of the piece, and hoisted one of them into the air, whilst moving through the streets.
